PROTECT

The linoleic acid in sunflower oil makes it an effective protector of the skin against bacteria and pathogens. It also helps to maintain the skin’s natural barrier and support its ability to retain moisture. This makes it a boon for dry skin and conditions such as eczema.

In addition, the thickness of the winter mask protects your skin from the cold winter winds.

ULTRA REPAIRING

Squalane combined with Moroccan lava clay helps repair your skin in a unique way. These two ingredients work together like 2 best friends to keep moisture in your skin.

MOISTURISING

The combination of high-quality, non-clogging oils such as sunflower oil, argan oil, jojoba oil, macadamia oil, safflower oil and squalane makes this winter moisturiser unique. It moisturises the skin like no other moisturiser. The perfect combination of oils imitates your own naturally produced oils.

I was fortunate enough to get this product in a beauty box subscription at a time when my skin was SO parched from both the winter and mask wearing. I used this mask at night (and daytime if I was extra flakey). It goes on so silky and you can tell it is really penetrating the extra moisture and goodness into your skin. I just ordered 2 more tubes to be ready for winter! I find this particularly amazing after using my retinol (which can be drying) all year long. Looking forward to trying more Mudmasky products!

I really love all the seasonal leave-on-masks. The winter mask is no exception. It may feel very thick and rich at first, but it is quickly absorbed and leaves your skin feeling smooth and moisturized.

I was excited for this because I love the idea of a winter mask that you can leave on as you go about your day, but unfortunately I have not been happy with the results. The product does blend seamlessly into your skin just like a regular moisturizer, however the mask barely even penetrates the surface layer. It does not lock in moisture at all and I still have dry patches on my skin after just an hour of applying it. I have used this for a month now and the results have sadly been underwhelming.
